Converse tribute post...support!!

My Converse collection.Five so far.

So I bet right now some of you are wondering...what is this girl going to post about this time?Some might say...LORNA!!What the hell is wrong with you??Converse doesn't have anything to do with Form 3B!!Why post up such useless things??Well,I'd like to correct that.Converse plays a big role in my life as well as in the lives of my classmates from Form 3B.Why?It all started with this....Lovelyn and I are Converse crazy people.So in KL,we decided to "convert" people who do not wear Converse to buy a pair.Guess what?We "converted" James,Nelson,Melissa Lau,Natalie,Aaron and a few others...sorry if I did not mention some of your names I'm abit tired and sleepy now.Anyway,this coming Saturday,we're going to "convert" several others once more.But the question is still there...how does this bring in memories?Well,first of all,we bring in memories for those who get to buy their first pair of Converse with their classmates and celebrate the joy of Converse as this year is the 100th year Converse anniversary.Another thing is,they get to enjoy the fact that Converse is the modern,hip and sleek style of today's fashion.I do not appreciate stereotype thinking by others that say "Converse are for emo kids and punks".I'd slap you silly I tell ya.Plus,Converse is fashionable,comfortable,durable and has amazing quality.Don't you agree?So what is this big impact that converse has on YOUR life Lorna?Well,my answer is Converse is just a lovable shoe don't you think?And shoes play a big role in your life...is that enough for an answer?Well if not...lets let the pictures do the talking.

I love converse so much I have Converse stickers all over my guitar.Oh,and did I mention Vans is ever so lovable as well? =)

WELCOME TO THE CONVERSE CENTURY....you may ask....what is that?Converse is celebrating its 100th anniversary as I've said earlier.Thus,welcome to the Converse century people!

Here's one of my personal favourites.The trademark Converse Chuck Taylor all-star logo found on most of the Converse hi-top shoes.Extremely stunning logo for an ankle patch no?Anyway,its in between my electric guitar's pick-ups.If some of you are curious and may ask..."Lorna,are your guitar strings red?"why yes,they are.They are called The Red Devil Strings.They are coated thus they do not rust.They last longer than normal coated and elixir strings.Comes in Red and Black colours only.They are costly no doubt but I haven't changed my strings for over 8 months....worth it?But of course!!They haven't even started to rust though I scratched some coating off by doing excessive pick slides when I do solos on my electric >,<

Here's a picture of me infront of my guitars in my black pro-stars.My very first pair of Converse.I got them in Thailand.Yes,all my converse are legit.They all come from Indonesia,Thailand and Vietnam.No China products for me...though Converse has set up factories in China.

Sexy huh?Its the shoes...you gotta get them to look sexy. =p

If you noticed,I've written words all over my Converse.Because they are my first pair,I love them so much that I wrote inspirational quotes on them just in case I feel a little down sometimes.

This shoe is definitely the number one choice for style.My style at least.Don't know about some of you NIKE heads out there.
