Life in Form 4

Here's another post about how Form 4 is.

How is life in Form 4? Hard? Stress? Torture you can't bear?...

Nah...I can't really put a conclusion on how Form 4 is because only a month has passed so you can't expect me to comment and judge so hastily do you? Anyway,so far Form 4 isn't all that bad.In fact its quite fun.The BIG difference is that I'm not classmates with most of my Form 3 classmates.Barely a handful are in the same class as I am.It's not a bad thing though.I guess its time to move on and adapt to new people though I haven't really had much success in that.It seems that everyone has their own little social network group in class so we just stick to our own "groups" and socialize among ourselves.Yes,I know what you're thinking...you're thinking "What the hell is wrong with you? Socialize with others abit also kenot ah?" Well...my answer to that is "People don't want socialize back bo...how?" I shall now use the trademark Miss Teo quote..."Don't answer that.I want you to THINK!"

Enough of all that nonsense, lets get to the good part shall we?

So far life in the Arts Stream isn't stressful at all.We hardly have homework, our teachers are rather kind to us most of the time (probably not in the near future?)and we're carefree. But Form 4 is definitely VERY different from Form 1-3.There isn't anymore "tembaking" in tests. Its all in essay form which means more independent knowledge needed to score in tests or exams. But compared to what we're going to get in University in our near future,I guess you could say Form 4 and 5 is a small step to overcome. The teachers in Form 4 are trying not to make things so complicated for us and they're guiding us step by step so there shouldn't be much of a problem going through the next two years without difficulties unless you are rebellious against certain things.Action speak louder than words though,I doubt I'll cruise throughout this year because I feel very LAZY sometimes and I'll probably dream in class and not get what the teacher is teaching.I HARDLY practice what I preach.Math for example is one of my greatest enemies.I don't get all of it and I always run my mouth in class when the teacher is teaching so he always goes like "Girl girl, stop talking and look here." Then I would look at the board for awhile and then continue talking. No harm done? =0

Well,enough about that,lets talk PREFECTS.
So yea, prefects for year 2009/10 have been chosen.I must say,it gets more interesting as you watch your friends dear and close to you being drowned in homework, have short breaks and are patrolling around the school like zombies.Aside from that, the need to keep up their reputation is at stake if they do not handle the load.I find it amusing though I guess they'll get used to it soon enough.Anyway,I've always been rather rebellious against prefects. The prefects of 2008/09 aren't the most understanding and reasonable batch you can find.Sure they're keeping the school in top shape and everything but sometimes they're too overboard.ALOT of students agree on this.I mean come on...I've had my share of offence slips that I had to sign forcibly that were given to me without warning.I mean it seriously, one time I honestly did not know my offence and I was forced to sign an offense slip.Even better news is,since prefects don't wanna keep pens in their pockets, they ask you to get a pen you can find and sign the empty slip first before writing down the offence.Obviously I was furious and refused to sign it but I got THREATENED."If you don't sign,I'll give you another offense slip for disrespecting prefect authority."I was angry so obviously I was asking this prefect what my offence is rudely and I kept pointing at IT.It seemed that the prefect was playing games with me so IT glared at me (I don't think there's a need to say whether IT was a HE or a SHE).So I signed by force. Then I was left puzzled and confused.Even when I asked a simple question though rudely because I didn't know what the heck my friggin offense was,no answer came out from IT'S mouth.Seemed to me like I was talking to an animal. Why do I say animal? IT didn't talk and because I answered IT rudely and IT glared at me throughout the 1 and a half minute I spent looking at IT for an answer to my question. After reading this, don't ask me who IT was because I don't recognize that person neither did I bother looking at IT's nametag. This happened somewhere before or after the first term exam last year (note that at that time, the go down for break and lunchtime rule was not implememted yet so MAYBE IT mistook me for someone else eating in class and I fell victim for no explanation).I can't remember and I don't wanna waste time and braincells to do so.I hardly knew their names or recognize them.Wasn't familiar with my seniors ba...They all seemed the same to me last time. All I know, most of them have the same glare and they love the word "SIGN!" So dear readers who might find this offensive,I suggest you don't try questioning me on this because I don't care anymore (I'm Form 4 now...back to good ol' 100 points) and you can't take any action against me because a blog is a public journal for people to express what they want to (I'm ranting not abusing). If you think its wrong,go sue the person who invented blogs.Oh and,Malaysia has no law that states ranting is a crime.

Carried away there...anyway,what happened last year has passed so now I'm starting a new.Getting on,I just wanted to say, prefects,if you spot a person committing an offense in a small or large crowd, make sure you take action against the right person cuz I was so damn ****ing positive I did not commit that particular "offence" last year.Oh well,at least I accepted it.So yea,be careful because these things might just come back to haunt you and its not very nice to others now is it?

Wait, there's more I want to say.I generally don't HATE prefects but I feel annoyed by them at times.Trust me,I respect my seniors and I actually know a few of the senior prefects now.Have respect for others because if you don't,who will respect you?

I see things this way, take for example your close friend (a classmate) or a senior you know that is close to you (older than you)is a prefect.Would you want them to tell you off like a kid because you can't discipline yourself? and you suddenly have no respect for them when they have the authority to boss you around if you do something wrong? Then when they are forced to take action against you (which obviously no one enjoys to be a victim) you rebel against him/her and you don't want to be friends anymore?Seriously,is it that worth it to lose a friend because you can't behave yourself or show your friend a little more respect? Obviously not.So my advice,prefects-don't go too overboard and lose your ego if you have one (being a prefect doesn't mean you're better than others),review your own performance as an authority of the school. If you suck,I suggest you quit before something bites you. Students-behave,if you commit an offence, take it in and accept your mistake but if they got the wrong person maybe a little arguement then a settled answer would do good.If all else fails, accept lo...

So to my dear friends who are now prefects, lets make sure we have respect for each other and hopefully no shit happens kapeesh? =)

THE END - Tired? Its okay, more posts next time. =D
