Happy New Year!! 2010 is here!

Hey peeps! Its now 1st January of 2010.
2009 is long gone and next year we'll be in our final year of high school.It kinda sucks but I guess we have to look on the bright side and realize that our whole lives are ahead of us and we are meant to move on and do great things in life.

AND

I also wanna tell you all about this book I've read.Its called the Ultimate Gift by Jim Stovall.Its an amazing book I tell you! I have the second one as well but I wanna tell you about the one I just mentioned.
It really makes you realize what is important in life and how you can't take things or people for granted.
There's even a movie made.Just go youtube and search The Ultimate Girft trailer.
The book will definitely wow you because it'll really give you an impact in your life.It did to mine :)

I miss....

I miss the pin on badge that we used to have back in Primary.It represented what colour house we were too.Mine is still in good condition.

Now we have those stitch on badges that looks so awful.

When you go out with your school uniform now,everyone knows your name because you can't take it off.

No wonder they call up Lodge School students' parents and tell us we're supposedly kidnapped and they demand ransom money and shit.Its STUCK on your uniform because we have to effin stitch the thing on our uniforms.

They made the whole stitch on badge because kids kept losing their badges and it costed RM2.50 to replace for a new one.The sad truth : Kids back then weren't responsible.Neither are the kids now.

I miss playing the silly game with the badges we used to call "badge fight".Some of us kids would just run to the porch bench after school and start taking off our badges and flicking them to hit our opponent's badges off the bench.

Yes,it seems pointless but it was hella fun when we used to do it.

I miss breaking the window panes when we used to always make big paperballs and throw them around.Then either you shut up and pretend you don't know who broke it or some snitch would tell on you.RM 5 for one window pane.Fuck, I still remember breaking 3 in one day and I got scolded and canned.By teacher and headmaster.

And back then,you couldn't really demerit kids.Just spank them and expect them to listen to you there onwards.In my case,AS IF.hahah.

The system was a bitch then,still is.

Christmas is coming and I'm thinking of getting another pair but am currently BROKE.

Mum is always furious when I buy new pairs of shoes.I just recently bought a new pair of JP's and she went all "Go open your own shop and sell all your shoes!!"

Oh well,I guess I'm content with my collection of sneakers so far.Most of them which are Converse of course :)

I used to have a favourite pair of shoes that I used almost everyday.My Fila tennis shoes.They were with me for almost 6 years until I finally had the guts to throw it away last year.Why?

Brothers and sisters said : Your shoes look like shit! The old Sparx(brand of school shoes currently extinct.LOL.) shoes in the cupboard looks better.

Dad : He gave me a thumbs up for keeping the pair of shoes for so long because he was the one who bought them for me :D

i just got back from thailand not long ago.

i tell u , we all have to go backpacking there one day. it'll be so fun as a year end trip before we all leave lodge.

bangkok was fun.it's seriously like a city that never sleeps,except it's the eastern kinda city.
the views are awesome!!

an hour away, there's this place called Chiang Mai. it's beautiful too! the stuff there is awesome. the people are less dangerous and there are so many things to see!! too much!!

we all have to do it.

did i mention too that the lady boys are actually better looking than me??

we can always make it to Pattaya to see them. :)

As you guys know, Form 4 arts class had an art exhibition going on today. The main reason for this art exhibition was to raise money for charity and at the same time we got to learn a little bit about econs and business stuff. haha overall it was super duperr tiring but fun at the same time. There was the bidding of the paintings by our very own Picassos and Leonardo Da Vincis, Jonathan Lo, Daphne Ong, Shirley Ngui and so on. The art exhibition was a success thanks to you guys.sooo THANK YOU :) it means a lot to us. Besides it was for a good cause :) hahaha. Thank you for your support. Anywayyy, Alice in wonderland is coming out!OUT!OUT! :) i cant wait to watch it wheehehe

Oh! and I miss The Little Mermaid so much! hahaha i love their songss and Flounder and Sebastian and Ariel, who is always up to no good, being mischiveous and getting into trouble and always so adventurous :) I look up to her now :) hahah but i miss their catchy tunes and the melody and the songg! so so MUCH! I miss how King Triton would always raise his voice at Ariel when she gets herself into trouble. I miss Ursula! hahahah the silly sea witch. whee :)

Cikgu Danny times...*LONG POST* :O

Today,I was sitting down watching MTV and Rihanna's song came on.Suddenly I had this little flashback in my head about Cikgu Danny last year and how he compared essay writing to Rihanna's song,Take A Bow.LOL!!

I'm sure someone remembers this day because I know I do.If you don't,let me do a recap.

Do you all remember how Cikgu Danny always says if you're writing a 'pop' song write 'pop' song the whole way?Or if you're writing 'rock' song then you must write 'rock' song the whole way and not rock with pop in one essay?
All of a sudden he compares essay writing to Rihanna's Take A Bow saying she can change her voice and make the song interesting yet it is still a pop song or whatever....hahah!!

Then he goes all "You all should try to do this in your essay.You must make it interesting,as in not repeating the same isi but at the same time not writing out of topic.Write pop song means write pop song.Don't halfway give me crap then you make your song not nice."

*class laughs*

Cikgu Danny continues....
"Or worst come to worst you completely write out of topic the examiner will give you ZERO straight away"

then....I raise my hand.
"Oh Cikgu,I know! I know! Examiner will give one mark for effort!"

*Giggles from people who aren't asleep on that day*

Then Cikgu Danny replies to my statement.
"Miss Chong,examiner will not be that kind.And you are also one of the ones who like to write out of topic.You better be careful or else you become the next write out of topic Queen"

I miss hearing him call everyone with a Miss or MR.Don't you?

And then....I'll flashback for you what else came across my mind.

Cikgu Danny says "You all know the song "survivor" by Destiny Child?"
Kim says "yes,of course!" *hums and sings survivor song*
Cikgu Danny : All of you should listen to it and lets see who will be a survivor when all your results come out.

And then...there are a few times where Cikgu Danny mentions about his undying interest for Pussycat Dolls and KIMBERLEY TAN will always comment something followed by NELSON VOON and then JAMES CHUO.hehe...good times.

Oh and to MELISSA KHOR : You probably won't remember this because you always halfway passout in class.hahah.Occasionally Kim would throw highlighters at you or I throw eraser bits at you.

Okay, so you cannot survive a hundred shots to the head, or a hundred lightning strikes. Face it, no one can. Alright, fine, maybe some people can, but technically the cheerleader from Heroes doesn’t count.

You will die numerous times before your body dies. Probably not physically as you can truly only have one physical death, but every time you choose to exist instead of living, you die inside.

Yes, your heart will continue its incessant pumping like the good little heart it was brought up to be and yes, your body will continue to function but something else inside dies.

So yes, you will die once (physically) and few more times before that and yet, still only live once. Hardly seems fair, does it? It seems Fate doesn’t like being fair or was just never good at math. In any case, it doesn’t matter.

We live once so just live!

Forget your inhibitions and let go of your reservations. There's more to life than studying and getting that dream job. There is happiness, food, music, art, sports, family, friends... The list goes on forever. I'm not saying we shouldn't work hard in school, cause that's really isn't my point here. I'm saying we shouldn't have to work like its the only thing we're living for. Meet Eli

hello ppl, i was feeling bored and really wasnt in the mood to hit the books yet, so i got martin to take a vid of me feeding Eli
(E as in the letter "e" and li as in lie down)

I caught him by accident at Matang with mosquito netting LOL
and he's been staying with me ever since

A few facts bout Eli:

1) He LOVES earthworms, I can't get him to eat anything else -_-

2) He has no scales and is extremly soft :)

3) The other fish pick on him occasionally cos he looks like a giant worm D:

4) He likes trying to eat my finger, rawrr

5) He has no teeth :D

6) He likes burrowing in sand, cept, I cant find enough sand for him :(

7) Gravel cuts his soft skin up making him extremely vulnerable to infections, hence no gravel

8) I use a net to feed him cos the other fish would just steal his worm otherwise

9) He now swims INTO nets when he sees them which, I have to admit, is not a very good survival tactic for a fish :S

9) He will bellydance in front of the tank when he's hungry and if anyone's around o_o

10) Oh, and he's an amazing pet :)
